A New York State Of Shock

Well, if that performance doesn’t warm a Sens fan on a blustery winters night, I don’t know what will.

To say that this team is surprising its Eastern Conference foes would be an understatement, they’re absolutely shocking them.  A 3-0 performance, against the best (formerly, thanks to the win) team in the NHL, has surely to garner the attention of the rest of the league, or at least those previously unwilling to accept the Sens as a legitimate threat.

That win was a major statement, and having done it, without their best 60 minute effort, only makes it all the louder.

Watch out Ottawa, you’ve just called your shot…now the competition will be ready for you!
