Leclaire, as I expected, gets the nod tonight.
Remember “the Senators have great goaltending”.
I expect this to be a very big game for the 3rd line, the only line not impacted by the loss of Spezza.
We all know Neil, Kelly and Ruuts love to play the small and squishy Sabres, and here’s hoping they can ground, pound and astound them in the offensive zone.
I’m also hoping to see Gonchar assert himself on the PP tonight, and make a statement to the fans in the very first home game.
Lastly, both Regin and Foligno came into this season considering themselves to be legit top sixer, and hoping to get a chance to prove their case in the regular season. Well boys, here’s your chance.
I call a 4-3 Sens win, in O.T.
