Sens Look To Knock The Stuffing From Buffalo

I have to admit, of all of the teams in the NHL, BUF is my favourite opponent.

In many ways, BUF and OTT are similar teams.  They both play under the shadow of MLSE, they both contend with small markets, and they’ve both faced post season adversity.

I actually like the Sabres, I even respect them, and unless they’re playing against Ottawa, or in competition with them for a play-off position, I root for them.

I also believe, as a rival, Buffalo is the best.  Often times these games are outstanding.  Plenty of scoring, great battles, and tonnes of passion.

If the Sens want to come out with a clean win, in regulation, it will take some dedicated effort in the offensive zone.  Miller has been outstanding, and the no name defense has been stellar in their limiting opponents to good goal scoring opportunities.

Make no mistake, this Buffalo team is good, real good, and a win tonight will not only vault Ottawa within striking distance of tops in the NE, but also give them another shot in the arm as legitimate play-off contenders.

  1. Used to play for a very good team in the older version of the Buffalo uni…with the hockey guys one night was mistaken for Gilbert Perrault by the paparazzi…but that was then and this is now…ya saw the Habs…I couldn’t believe it…I’ve had the worst premonition about this game…they always play us close…Notre Artiste is in Russia…we are going to miss #10’s drive…Buffalo plays four lines-I don’t know if we have 4? And…and Miller wants that Olympic Team spot bad!!

  2. An old Bison’s man eh? Nice. Great history there.
