It Ain’t Pretty, It Just Looks That Way.

Look, I’m as happy as any Sen fan, but I’m no fool (although my Leaf lovin’ brother in-law may think otherwise).

The Sens have locked up three straight wins, nice, but not one of those wins has come while facing a play-off shoe in opponent.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m ecstatic to see some strong play by many Sens, particularly the goaltenders, but what I’m really looking forward to seeing is the Sens slaying a few dragons.  How about starting with a win vs. the Stanley Cup champion Penguins?

Now that would be something to crow about.

Until then we have to be prepared for this team to keep taking baby steps toward the post season, not giant leaps.

First on the list of necessary baby steps is the start of offensive production from Spezza and Mich.  Until that happens, this march towards the post season will be rough, and cold.

Come on Spez, lets get it goin’.
