The Last Dance

Well, with the season winding down (it still hurts to say it), Ottawa will face the Habs in Montreal tonight for their final meeting of the year.
Montreal has the season series locked up, but without having done the same with a play-off berth, Ottawa no doubt wants to lose the war, but win the battle, and do what they can to at least leave the Habs feeling nervous, if not downright worried.
Halak gets the start, with another supposed flu for Price.. .(yeah, well, I”m sure his nose is running…), and surprisingly (though earned) Auld gets his 3rd consecutive start.
Without a couple of key defenseman, Markov (3wks), Schneider (season), Montreal may struggle on both the PP and PK, and if Ottawa can make the most of their special teams opportunities, a win in this game may well be in reach.  But Montreal will be desperate to mitigate for their loss, and will surely bring their A game in response to these key injuries.
Here’s to an exciting, injury free game.
